Join Black Girls Do Engineer® for the 2026 BGDE FutureHER STEM Learning Summit, a high-energy, immersive STEM learning experience designed exclusively for girls in grades 2–12.
This is not your traditional conference. The FutureHER STEM Learning Summit puts girls at the center of the experience through hands-on STEM training, interactive learning labs, real-world career exploration, and inspiring talks from women and professionals working across STEM industries.
Powered by STEMXUS™, BGDE's innovative learning platform connecting real-world skills to future STEM careers, the summit is designed to give girls an opportunity to experience emerging technology firsthand while strengthening their confidence, curiosity, critical thinking, and technical skills.
Throughout the summit, participants will rotate through engaging learning experiences that introduce them to some of the technologies and careers shaping our future.
Girls will participate in hands-on STEM training and innovation labs exploring areas such as:
Participants will move beyond simply hearing about STEM careers—they will have opportunities to build, create, problem-solve, experiment, and learn alongside STEM professionals and mentors.
The summit will also feature short, engaging FutureHER Inspiration Talks from women and industry professionals who are building careers, leading innovation, and creating change through STEM.
These conversations will help girls understand that there is no single path into STEM. Speakers will share their experiences, lessons learned, career journeys, and advice to help participants envision what their own futures could look like.
Technology is changing how we learn, work, communicate, solve problems, and build our communities. Girls shouldn't have to wait until college to begin developing the skills needed to participate in that future.
The FutureHER STEM Learning Summit creates a space where girls can explore what's possible, gain exposure to emerging STEM fields, meet women they can see themselves becoming, and leave with new knowledge and skills they can continue building.
Girls won't just be asked to imagine the future.

Girls in 2nd–12th grade who are curious about STEM, technology, engineering, healthcare, coding, robotics, AI, cybersecurity, or future careers.
No previous STEM experience is required. Whether a student already knows she wants to pursue STEM or is just beginning to explore what's possible, the FutureHER STEM Learning Summit is designed to meet her where she is and help her discover what's next.
